Astrology: What Do The Stars Have To Say About You?

One of the coolest ways I’ve found to engage in life is through astrology. I know not everyone believes in astrology. I don’t even know if I believe in astrology. But I have found it to be a really fun and exciting way to engage in the journey of life.

I’ve always loved the idea of this world being a mystical and magical place where even the stars are trying to tell us who we are and what we might be here for. What if these glowing orbs of bursting energy are pointing us toward or guiding us along a hidden path that leads to true healing and purposeful living?

A couple of years back I was on an LSD journey. I had taken a tab of this psychedelic invitation and found myself laying in the grass of my friends back yard staring up at the sky, watching the clouds pull, breathe and transform in and out of shape with each other. There’s really nothing like watching the clouds on LSD. Then, at one point a symbol formed in the sky, it looked like what I would imagine a Native American symbol to look, a totem filled with the faces of animals that formed some sort of round symbolic emblem. This symbol came towards me and it was magnificent. It seemed to be offering me some sort of guidance. I couldn’t help but wonder if maybe, just maybe these symbols were actually all around us all of the time, guiding our souls. As if some part of us was aware of this happening, but our normal thinking minds weren’t capable of or meant to see them.

In other words, what if something bigger is going on? What if we are being guided on some kind of soul journey that we in human form and mind are mostly unaware of. What if the deeper longings and desires that rise up in our bodies are the souls way of encouraging us to turn left and right along the path that only the deeper part of us could see?

I digress:)

Last year around my 40th birthday, I sat with an astrologer for the first time. Her name is Jessa Walters. She is AMAZING. She took my birth information and formed what is called a birth chart that showed me the exact blueprint of where the stars were located in the sky the moment that my spirit, in body made it’s grand entrance into this life. I like to think that at this moment the stars made an imprint on my soul, or an even cooler way to see it is that my arrival made an imprint on the sky itself. Either way, we sat together and looked at what this information and way of seeing, that has been passed down through millennia, might want to say to me.

It was enlightening. To say the least.

I’m not sure if it told me anything new, but rather solidified who I knew I already was. She told me secrets about myself that no stranger should ever know. Stories of how I felt inside. The emotional pushes and pulls that go on in the stormy midwest regions of my body. She highlighted years of tension or deep change and I sat and thought back at the wild times, in the exact dates she was speaking of.

This was a very powerful and life changing session with Jessa. To feel seen and known by the stars themselves. To hear my story spoken out loud, translated from this map of the heavens. It was a very deep confirmation that I was being guided - pushed and pulled along the path - from sources other than my own human body or mind. That my choices - although my own - were being swayed by the force and energy of Mars and Pluto. That my romantic longings were being tempted by Venus. That my luckiest days were being blessed by Jupiter. That my spirituality that has always ran deep in my bones was being handed down from Neptune.

I am a Gemini Sun. Dark and light embodied. A gatherer and passionate giver of information and resources.

I am Cancer Rising. Deeply romantic. An intuitive feeler. A builder of home. A wounded healer.

I am a Virgo Moon. Heavy to the earth. Aware of it’s suffering. An organized source of healing power.

Who are you?

Much love.

David
